Joining the Race of Bald Bloggers
Written by Jai on December 16, 2007 – 6:15 am - 2,976 views
Finally, I have decided to join the race. You might want to know which race am I talking about. Well, I am talking about the race of the bald bloggers. On the occasion of this blog crossing the 1000 readers bar , I decided to shave my head today and suddenly remembered that many of the popular bloggers are actually bald (Darren Rowse, Jeremy Schoemaker).
So, if you also want to join this bald bloggers’ race, shave your head and tell me about it
I know that you love your locks but you only qualify if you are bald. If you are a female…I would say…go for it. You might set a trend.

Written by Jai on December 7, 2007 – 10:05 pm - 1,774 views
I started out with web designing about six years ago and today I was thinking about the initial web pages that I had built. Yes, they looked crappy and were hosted on free sites like Tripod, Geocities and are no more there. But they still have that sentimental feeling and I feel warm inside when I recall all that hard work (supposed to be) that I put in making them. I still remember that one of the few pages that I had built was for my dog when it died and that was on Yahoo Geocities. In all these years, I have learned a lot but I still cherish those old times when I was struggling to learn new things. Recently, I left my full-time job to pursue my online career, so that shows how much I love it now.
There are people who are starting out with their web design careers so I would like to tell them that “Old is really really gold”. So, if you have any such experience, share with me here… and also leave your comments.

Written by Jai on November 25, 2007 – 6:28 pm - 1,736 viewsI was working on the blog as usual (4:43 A.m.) and suddenly everything started shaking!! I told my wife to take Rhea (my daughter) and rush outside but it only lasted for a few seconds. It was the strongest earthquake that I have ever felt in my lifetime. Nature has its way to show us that it is the boss.
Just switched on the TV and saw that the whole city of New Delhi was awake!! The earthquake has been measured 4.3 on the Richter’s scale but it really felt like the strongest earthquake that New Delhi ever experienced - Nuff said!
Note for the Smart ones : The following picture was taken after the earthquake passed ![]()
