TNX Review
Written by Jai on February 22, 2008 – 10:11 am - 1,647 views

Today I will be reviewing TNX.net which helps you in buying and selling links on other websites. This service is helpful for both publishers as well as the advertisers. The service provides TNX points which can be used to advertise your websites or you can also sell these points.
As a website publisher you will be able to sell links not just on the main page but on all the pages of your website. On top of that, you get a chance to choose between thousands of advertisers registered with their service. TNX deducts a commission of 12.5% on every transaction that you make, which according to me is a reasonable amount. The prices for links are calculated automatically based on factors like link popularity, PR and the number of external links. The code can be easily installed on your website which is used to display the advertisers’ link.

Here comes a new way to make money online! Now you can place YPN (Yahoo Publisher Network) ads in Adobe PDF files which will help you meet your PPC targets. The service is known as “Ads for Adobe PDF” and you earn money whenever your readers click on an ad.
This service lets you place upto five ads to the right of your document which does not obscure the content of your PDF files. Unfortunately, this service is only available for U.S. based PDF publishers just like the YPN restriction. When applying for the program, you will have to give details about the number of PDF files that will contain the ads. In order to make your PDF files ad-enabled, you have to login to Adobe’s website and upload your PDF files. After a few minutes you will receive the PDF file back as an e-mail attachment ready to display Yahoo ads.

Written by Jai on January 29, 2008 – 9:04 am - 1,641 viewsPepperjam network is the next generation affiliate marketing network that includes a number of advanced tools that allow Web site owners to monetize Web traffic.
They just released a Video Tutorial of pepperjamADS, which is an affiliate marketing widget from Pepperjam Network that you can use to serve customized contextual ads from one or multiple Pepperjam Network advertisers at the same time.
The ad units come in various shapes and sizes. You can mix and mash ads from any of Pepperjam Network merchant partners. For instance, you can create a fashion widget by selecting various ads from multiple fashion merchants. Likewise, you can create a specific widget with ads from any one merchant.
The thing that really separates pepperjamADS technology from anything else is that you get to choose the ads you want in the widget. Think about it - on CJ, Linkshare, ShareASale, Performics, Azoogle, and others you simply select a specific banner or specific text link for one merchant. You are limited to promoting one specific merchant per creative. Also, note that Pepperjam Network has its own referral program that pays Web site owners up to $7 for every approved affiliate application.

Written by Jai on December 13, 2007 – 7:56 pm - 3,273 views
Bloggers love affiliate programs, it runs in our blood, so every time a new one pops up there we go in the hope of coining a few more dollars. Adsense has for many years been the preferred, sometimes the only, affiliate program but with the introduction of WidgetBucks, things might begin to change. But before we trot along, one crucial question should be asked, which of the two provide the best results? Today I’ve decided to put them both to the test by analyzing their strengths and weaknesses in a hope of determining which of the two affiliate programs delivers the most dollars to its publishers.
On one corner we have the experienced, all time champion, no stranger to online advertising, Adsense, the Google affiliate program. On the other corner, the young spirit, only a few months old, ready to take the blogosphere by storm, WidgetBucks, the interactive affiliate network. Let’s throw them in the ring together and see which comes out on top.

Written by Jai on November 29, 2007 – 4:22 am - 1,882 viewsSince I have been a publisher for the Shopzilla Ads on one of my websites, I recently got a mail from the Shopzilla Network and they asked me to join their new Beta Publisher program. I had applied for it and was accepted yesterday. They offer a variety of products from which the publishers can choose and display on their websites.
These include text links, search boxes, banners, product pods etc. I haven’t yet tried them so I cannot say about the revenue that one can earn from the program. The publisher program is still in beta stage so they are not accepting all the publishers but you can still try your luck. The Shopzilla Publisher Program will be at PubCon in Las Vegas between December 4th - December 6th.
Here is how it looks :-

Not earning enough to quit your day job?
Saving money for your next vacation?
Bills going through the roof and looking for some extra money?
Want to buy that new computer gadget that you have your eyes on?
Well, let me share some solid techniques to make money from your blog. These are not some run-of-the-mill techniques that every other blogger preaches about. Rather these are my personally tested and tried methods for a full time income. And ya.. don’t leave your job yet
1. Get Sponsors for your Blog
Once your blog starts getting traffic, try and contact private companies that are operating in your niche area and get them to sponsor your blog. Even if its for a small amount, it adds up to your blog earnings. Gradually, when your blog ranks higher on the search engines, there are chances of getting better and high-paying sponsors. Try and provide all the details about your blog like traffic stats, search engine rankings, specialization area, unique visitors and keyword popularity. Also mention how your blog will help them in promoting their brand products. Do not get disheartened if you fail to get sponsors for the first time. Keep trying and make targets for yourself.
