Is there a way to put the sidebars on each side of the page rather than side-by-side? By the way, kudos on the theme, it has the proffesional understated look that's perfect for my blog.

Hi Jai,

thank you, I saw that - but how can I make the header DIV clickable without having the title and description text overlaying the background image?

Continued testing with the new code but it caused a few issues so I had to remove it.

1. The code doesn't account for the theme's archive.php used for category content. When I click on a category, it highlights the Home navigation button rather than the Archives button.

2. When I clicked my Contact nav button, nothing appeared after the header. As soon I removed the code, the contact page appeared again. Odd.

Regards,

Hello grappa,

The header of the file uses CSS to define the space for the title and description. So, you will have to make your image as background for the header.

Hi,

First of all - thank you for your great themes. I love them!

Then: I have a problem implementing a header image in the Big Blue theme. When I replace the PHP echo function in header.php (the one that calls the Blog Title and Desc) with a standard <img src=""/> tag, I can see the image dimensions being called up on the frontpage (width and height are declared), but that vanishes when the page is fully loaded. In IE, it displays a broken image link instead.

It's a GIF image, placed in the "images" subfolder of the theme.

I explored altering the parameters of the "header" and "top" DIVs in style.css, but nothing made it work.

Is there any way I can do that?

I just cut over to a heavily modified version of Big Blue on my guitar blog at http://buildingtheergonomicguitar.com. I'm very happy with the results.

But I was wondering about one thing. In the navigation menu, only those menu items listed by wp_list_pages, stay highlighted when clicked on. The home page doesn't. How do I get the Home Page link to highlight when active?

Thanks for your help and thanks for the theme!

I can say without hesitation that I am NOT a CSS expert or a Wordpress expert. I can also say that I love the Themes here... so much so that I am trying to combine functionality of two of them together to get what I want. The BigBlue theme had the colors I wanted... BOB had the functionality of full most recent post and excepts on the remaining posts. I took the loop from BOB, but it into Big Blue and while I have tweaked it enough to work in IE, Firefox pukes all over the place... Anyone know what CSS I should modify to get what I need?
