I am using the Identity theme you created but there is a glitch when viewing from all IE versions below 7. The nav. goes to the bottom of the content and to the left hand side of the page. have a look at www.tomorrowstrust.ca.

For the most part works well on Firefox & IE7. But a few categories the nav. bar on the right jumps down below the main content. If you take a look at the same link and choose the "Halos" category you will see what I mean.

Can you please give me an idea on what might be causing this.

Thanks so much, I love this theme!

You should perhaps contact TLA for the help since its their code which is not showing up. Template will not block your ads in any way.

I'm using BOB V1. I upgraded to V2 hoping it would fix my problem, but no go. I use TLA (text link ads) and they do not show up in IE. Nothing after my TLA code appears in IE. There is no problem in Firefox. I've gone back to BOB V1 in the meantime.

I was told to amend the CSS with this code to fix the problem

\\word-wrap: break-word; /* fix for long text breaking sidebar float in IE */
overflow: hidden; /* fix for long non-text content breaking IE sidebar float */\\

but it is not clear to me WHERE in the CSS this fix should be made. Can you help?

Thanks.

I figured it out, if anyone's wondering. If you don't set a left margin for an OL in Internet Explorer, it doesn't display the numbered list. If you set the margin to 30, it will work fine. Goofy bug.

Hi, I started hosting a site using a slightly modified version of your Pop Blue theme (thanks, by the way). You can see it here:

http://www.fauxlogism.com/

Anyway, my issue is that in Firefox the page displays properly with regard to Ordered Lists (OL), but in IE the site does not display the number at the start of the List Item (LI). Any idea why that might be the case? Any obvious means of remedy?

Hello Anne,

Just put this code anywhere in your style.css file and that will remove all the underlines :)

a {text-decoration:none;}

For your pages with the forms, you will have to style the width of the form tags. Right now they are taking 100%width. Try putting this code in the css file and see if it works for you.

form {width:40%;}

Also a beauty tip for your blog :- The line height for the content is not good. So, replace the code on line 12 of your css file which reads line-height: 100%; to line-height: 130%;. Your blog will become charming after that :)

Ok...I have no idea what happened but it is working great right now in IE (it is version 7).

Two very minor things, and I will let you rest in peace! :)

1) In Firefox, before the first entry, there seems to be an extra space (this does not show up in IE - it looks fine and all even)

2) How do I remove the underline from the entry title and hyperlinks?

Thank you again so much. It is up and running now at flowerdust.net if you'd like to take a look at what I'm talking about.

Hello again,

I copied your entire css and tested it on my local installation. I have IE7 and Firefox installed on my machine. The comments do NOT show any discrepancy whatsoever. You can check your IE version by going to the about menu of your IE browser.

I don't have IE 6 and I suspect you might be using that version. Though I haven't had any reports of such a thing, but you tell me.

If you want to chat with me, just come to my site and you will see on top left a widget called plugoo where we can talk.

Odd! Well, I am not sure what version of IE (I used it at work and I don't have a PC at home to check, but I would assume it is the latest version as our IT guys update it all the time)...I did a lot of CSS work but mainly colors/font changes. Chance are I could have screwed something up. :)

You can see the style.css here:

http://flowerdust.net/wp-content/themes/rhea/style.css

as well as any other files are in that directory as well. Thank you so much. I appreciate your help. I will certainly be donating to you for your help!
