Just wanted to edit, I did find an answer to three of my problems (numbered 1-3 above).

By editing the index.php page to make the index page display the full post entry, and not the summary, I did get the links within the blog to display. So, that is one issue taken care of. Now I don't need a "read more" type text at the end of the summary! And there is a link break after the date. LOL

Now just need the individual post's page question answered and I *think* I'll be all set!

Hi there!

In PopBlue, on the home page where there is a summary of each of my posts, I need a couple of things:
1) If I have links in the post, they are not showing in the summary (anchor text isn't a live link)
2) There is no "read more" or similar linked text
3) Need a line break between date and beginning of summary

In the post's individual page, at the end of the post, I need a line break after the ending of the post. Reason - if someone is not logged in, that link that says: You must be logged in to post a comment ... is butting up against my post.

I'm pretty good at finding how to do these things in the files and stylesheet, but these have me confused. These are just minor things, but I think would give my blog that finishing touch.

http://www.barbaraeyre.com/blog

Thanks so much!
Barbara

The Pop Blue theme complements Franklin & Marshall College's redesign blog quite well. We're having one bit of trouble that I can't seem to fix. On our archive pages, the read more link is not showing up. All the user sees is an ellipsis without a link:

http://redesign.fandm.edu/?m=200801

Any idea how to fix this?

Because you do not have enough text in your post and the image is getting too large for that space when text is wrapped around it.

Hello.

I am relatively new to tweaking CSS, but I am doing so with the PopBlue theme. My problem is that a .jpg I included with a post is exceeding the boundaries of the post area on my front page. I'm having a hard time explaining, so here's the link:

http://mookandleg.com/

Thanks for any advice anyone may be able to offer!

Hey I found it. If anyone has this same problem change

<?php the_content_rss('', TRUE, '', 150); ?>

to

<?php the_content('<p class="serif">Read the rest of this entry »</p>'); ?>

This will get rid of the character limit, and allow paragraph, breaks, and a href tags.

I figured it out, if anyone's wondering. If you don't set a left margin for an OL in Internet Explorer, it doesn't display the numbered list. If you set the margin to 30, it will work fine. Goofy bug.

Hi, I started hosting a site using a slightly modified version of your Pop Blue theme (thanks, by the way). You can see it here:

http://www.fauxlogism.com/

Anyway, my issue is that in Firefox the page displays properly with regard to Ordered Lists (OL), but in IE the site does not display the number at the start of the List Item (LI). Any idea why that might be the case? Any obvious means of remedy?

Hi,

I am interested in removing the pages from the header of the Pop Blue theme. I am using Silo Pages widget on the sidebar and the theme gets too crowed w/the pages also on top. What is the code that is needed to be removed and from what section in the theme editor to make this happen? Thanks in advance for your help in this regard.

Best - Rich
