Hello! Great theme. I have been making customizations to the site. Somewhere, the sidebar which houses the RECENT Posts, Recent Comments are Archive tabs have disappeared.

The lsidebar and rsidebar are still visible.

wow, nobody knows?

With some widgets I'm able to build space between them with
<p>

<br>
and/or
&nbsp;
(or combinations of those); but many of the built-in WordPress widgets won't allow me to do this. Surely there's something in the theme that can be tweaked?

The examples in the sidebar.php file were a little over my head -- at least right now. But I got it set up in another tab like this:

<div class="tabbertab">

<h2>Popular Posts</h2>

<ul>

<?php akpc_most_popular_in_month() ; ?>

</ul>

</div>

I may play around with it more, but at least it's working for the moment...

I've asked this several times on the Statement site (http://www.blogohblog.com/wordpress-theme-statement/) but have never gotten any help...

How do I get more space in there? I haven't figured that out yet...

I'm using the Statement theme on my blog, http://www.thelifeofbrian.info/blog, and am trying to figure out the best way to integrate Pupularity Contest. I got that working (WordPress 2.5.1) thanks to this site.

There is a sidebar.php included with the plugin with examples of how to display your popular posts... I'm new to WordPress, php, and all this stuff, having just moved my blog from Blogger a couple weeks ago, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this. I think I'd like another tab (with Recent Posts, Recent Comments, & Archive), and I *think* I can figure out how to add a tab; I'm just not sure at that point how to add the Popularity Contest results/code/whatever.

I think I'm just going to dig in and see what I can do - but in the meantime, any tips are appreciated!!

I'm having an odd issue with Statement. I cleared out the links in the Blogroll catagory. I made new catagories. I made new links, and put them in the catagories they belong in. However, the catagories nor links are showing on my blog. The links will not show up at all, unless they are in the Blogroll catagory. Is this supposed to happen?

Thanks for your response, Jai!

Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem, as there is no nested subfolder with the same name containing the data. The structure is
/wp-content/themes/blueweed/[files.ext]
and I can't think of any reason why the folder shouldn't be recognized by Wordpress ...

[ADDITION/SOLUTION]

Gosh! I just found the reason for my problem. Instead of extracting the zip-file with "BetterZip" I now used the "StuffIt Expander" and _it works_ !!!

I'm so happy :) Thank you very much anyway - you led me the way ;)

Check if there is not a folder in a folder when you are extracting the theme to your wp-content/themes. For example, check if there is not another blueweed folder in blueweed :) Hope I am making sense because sometimes this mistake happens when you extract a zip file.

Hello there!

I already wrote a comment in the blueweed comment-section, not knowing that there was a forum especially for this kind of questions ...

So my problem is that the 'newer' themes, namely
blueweed
and
statement
, do not appear in the 'design' section of the dashboard/acp, even on untouched default installations of Wordpress.
At first i thought there might be a special trick setting up jai's themes - but
bob, bobv2, Identity, limauorange
and
techicon
work just fine for me.

I uploaded the particular folders as usual into
/wp-content/themes/
and for
statement
I also tried to apply the breadcrumb-plugin ... but there I also have the problem that I cannot choose it from the dashboard-menu, although uploading the plugin went absolutely fine.

[addition] I'm running Wordpress 2.5.1 on a localhost environment for testing and developing purposes (Mac OS X/10.4.11, Apache/1.3.41 (Darwin), PHP/5.2.1, MySQL-API/5.0.24a).

Please help me - I'm desperately looking forward to your answers, suggestions and hopefully the solution for my problem!

Greetings,

Hi,
i'm trying since yesterday to change the image on the header of the statement theme.
I want to insert an image that is a full sized header, meaning: 1000 px x 154 px
I already modified the base of the header, the bkg.gif file and i made it enough big to tolerate a taller header. So the top area now it's not 106 px, but 244px and my header uses 154px of those.
My problem is positioning back on top the search box and the links to the pages and keeping the rest on their position of course.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
