Does anyone know how to change their blog to show part of the post and then have a read more link that goes to the rest of the post and comments? Thank you so much.

I am so sorry to ask a question and answer it for myself, I thought I had researched it and not found an answer but I got it now.
In case someone is looking for the same thing you can use PostTeaser, it is a Wordpress extension.

When you write your post, there is an option on the toolbar which lets you cut your post by adding the "more" line.
