iPhone vs Android – Which One’s Better?

I read this line on a website. “Apple diehard fans would be tempted to buy a live pig if it had the familiar logo branded on its backside”. Ha! I wondered what that might look like, so I tried to draw a picture in my mind and this was the outcome.

Jokes aside people, I think that’s a cute little pig right there. Any iPhone users, please don’t get offended as this is an article about my personal feelings. So if you don’t want to get butt hurt as this article progresses, please stop reading.

I have been an Android user for a long time now and I love the experience the Android OS provides. I have tried to convince myself to buy an iPhone a number of times, but every time I look at an iPhone or try to use it, I find it extremely boring and lifeless. I have the latest iPad Air but it just lies around doing nothing. All I use it is for doing compatibility tests for websites just because a lot of people use it for the Internet. And yes, Safari is the most retarded browser that I have ever used. Its worse than Internet Explorer. There, I said it. Ahh..feels good to get it out of my system.

I really don’t understand what’s all the hype about the iPhone and Apple in general. Is it the brand name? The sheep culture? The fanboyism? The Steve Job Movie :)?. Whatever it is, its got people by the balls. You don’t believe that Android is a better system? All right then, try to answer the following ten questions (these are for the remaining iPhone users who are still reading this post) –

  1. Can iPhone users change their app icons easily?
  2. Does iPhone have memory card storage like Android phones?
  3. Can you get root access to your iPhone as easily as an Android phone?
  4. Have iPhone users seen anything new in the iPhone design over the years (except size)? I mean iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 all look the same to me. Even the bugs are the same.
  5. Does an iPhone have the SMS delivery report feature that’s included even in the low-end Android phones?
  6. Can you replace the battery on an iPhone easily?
  7. Does iPhone have a better battery life than an Android?
  8. Are iPhone devices more sturdy than Android Devices?
  9. Even after having the above flaws, can iPhone’s ridiculous pricing ever match up to Android and make it more affordable?
  10. Can you hope not to get lost when following Apple maps (One of my friend landed up in a jungle trying to navigate through Apple Maps)?

One good thing about the iOS is that it has better looking apps on the App Store, but its not all about the apps, you see. Its about a hundred other things where iPhone cannot beat Android.

So, what do you have to say? Please don’t do this :- Roommates stab each other with beer bottles in iPhone vs. Android dispute. Just let me know in the comments section.

I must say very interesting post. But i would still prefer iPhone. Though i have used both android and iphone but i would still like to stick to iPhone. Like you have compared and said that android is far better than iphone as per your opinion, there are hundreds of articles out there which make iphone ‘The Winner’ 🙂 Salute to Steve Jobs for his creation.
