Wordpress Theme – Blue Box

Blue Box is a 2-columns and Widget-ready theme. Simple theme and suitable for any blog content. Come with splash image below the menu navigation. The splash size is a 800px width and 150px height. You can replace splash.gif with your own. OK guy time to break. Next entry i’ll try to make simple tips & tutorial about “How To Build Your Own Wordpress Theme“. PSD for logo text included in images folder. Font? yeah, i use Qlassik Font. You may download Qlassik font at Dafont.com

I really like this theme, however, I’d like to get rid of the Blue Box text in the upper left corner and replace it with my blog’s title. I’m quite retarded and probably won’t be able to figure this one out on my own, so if you could help me with this problem, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Is BlueBox compatible with wordpress 2.5 ?
Can anybody tell me where I should make changes to change date format?
Thanks for the theme. I edited the hell out of the CSS and am using it at my blog. This theme makes a very good base for editing your own theme!
Hi Bob !
Thanks for the nice theme.
How can I exclude pages from the main navbar in the header ? I don’t like all static pages there …
Thanks a lot …

Hey… I discovered Blue Box 0.1 the other day and am now using it on my blog, Squirrels Go Like This. I think it’s a very attractive and simple design!
I had one minor issue adapting it. I used the .psd file to change the title at the top from Blue Box to Squirrels Go Like This. The sample image is plenty wide enough to do this, but when rendered in FireFox 2.0.x, it chopped off the word “this” on both MacOS and Linux. I had to edit style.css to set the width of the image (in addition to the height attribute, which was already set to 51), in order to see the entire thing.
I’m sure I’ll tweak the theme further. Thanks!
how do i switch the splash.gif image into a splash.jpg? Gifs just don’t cut it for me but I can’t seem to find anything that says splash.gif as an image link. thanks!
