Open House

Here is a chance for you to be a part of the next free WordPress theme release on Blog Oh! Blog. I am looking for suggestions and ideas that should be incorporated in the upcoming theme. If you want a feature that has never been included in any WordPress theme so far (even if it’s a simple one), just mention it here and I will try to integrate it in the new theme. You can provide me with layouts, graphics, rough sketches or examples of existing websites that have always fascinated you. I will be choosing the best suggestions based on feasibility and value addition.

Reasons for you to participate in this creative experiment :-

– The theme will have your design, colors and layout.

– You also get to suggest a name for the WordPress theme. (Winning name will be chosen from all the suggested names)

– All contributors’ links will be listed on the new theme.

– The new theme will be a reflection of popular demand and style.

– Last but not the least, the theme will be free for everyone.

So, consolidate your thoughts and let me hear it from all of you.

I think people will always react personally to bold colour and style -so your site gets a huge Yes from me! Being able to manipulate objects with surreal colours/shapes/backgrounds is great, and these suggested sites offer so much -thanks.

Hello Jai. Most wordpress themes these days are too restricted to the same bland old column by column format. Why not try something more in the lines of a magazine style theme.

Personally, I’m looking for the following in a site:
3 columns, availability to customize rotating header images, and of course all the other bells and whistles that I’m just learning about.

Would like it to have clean lines, neutral/natural colors, feel open and fresh, contemporary, and yet reflect environmentally-friendly and organic nature: clean and “green”. Design should convey a sense of trust in the content.

I’m searching for a theme with three columns, two large and one small.
Every large columns are like one single blog and the third as usual for menus, archives, etc.
I wish an easay manner to put the articles in the two large columns without be obliged to use features…
Thanks

One thing I have been super interested in seeing, is a way to redirect the RSS feed from the WP blog itself. I use FeedBurner, and it is a pain to have to go in and edit every place the RSS feed appears to my FeedBurner feed. This may be a limitation in WP, but if not, I’ll use any theme that I don’t have to go in and manually edit this stuff. It would be great just to add that feed into a form in the Admin panel and have all feeds redirect to the specified feed.
