$author Thanks for a wonderful post. Can not wait to come back and read more on your blog. Have a great day.

These would be nice except for the non-commercial exclusion.

I wish sites that offer things like this (and I’m referring to their site), would clearly state what the price of the commercial license is. Having to contact the author via email for a price is unscrupulous IMO.

Great looking stuff, but unusable for me. Thanks anyways.

hi, great post…i’ve used glossy on my site navigation images.

just one slight problem (and I wasn’t sure where else to ask a question)….the glossy display doesn’t render properly in google chrome. One of the very few problems i have found with the browser so far!

Some really nice effects you linked too. the magnifying one is quite nice. apart from the fact you have to drag it around, the result is better than most flash examples of the same thing imo!

Great code, but I cannot get it to work inside frames in IE. In FF it works so it must be something IE specific that is preventing it. The pictures just disappear

Thank you. Some gorgeous effects. We have developed a web application for creative expression with digital photos: www.graphita.com

Most of our solutions composite bitmaps using flash proxies. Interesting to see how this was done.

Ignore the idiots like “top 10? from what list?”, who have nothing to contribute except cheap comments. We appreciate the post. Thanks!

top 10? from what list? Reply

All of these scripts were authored by the same person/group of people. They all come from the same website. You could look at one of them and find the rest on the site.

The scripts are good, but there was not a lot of thought put into this list, I’m afraid.

It’s amazing how some people can focus on a specific goal and make it work. I’m sure that creating those JavaScript image effects must have been a very time-consuming learning experience . . . and I can have it all for free?

Thanks!
