Very nice. It is great to see local theme developer.
Keep it up!!
I have a small question. What should I edit in order to adjust the width of the two sidebars? Other than that, thanks for the theme. I really like the dark color scheme.
forrestRain@ Thanks
Jessie@ everything on style.css.(sidebar,rsidebar and lsidebar).
Thanks for a great theme. God bless you
wow.. nice theme! keep it up! Looks like its easy to modify..
Peter@ thanks
donalyza@ haha, yep easy
Thanks for the theme. I am having the same problem I have been having with other themes though. The homepage of my blog (sharpeinvesting.com) appears wrong in internet explorer, but when you click on any of the sub pages, the blog appears normal. I only have Akismet running for plugins. How can I fix this?
Matt@ may i know your IE version?
Admin, I am using IE 7.
Also, how can I change the color of the column dividers between the left and right sidebar and between the main content section and the left sidebar?
updated my site to this theme! thanks again!!!
Can you help me figure out why the 3rd column keeps dropping on my blog in Internet Explorer. Im using the latest IE. IT looks great in firefox however.
I tried a fresh copy of the index.php without my edits, removing all the widgets, and I still have the same problem with I.E. Im stumped. ;(
ermmm.. lemme check
Thanks for a quick response! I really love this theme! Dont want to give it up, but most of my users are sadly using I.E. as their browser…. bleh..
trench@ email sent
okay. thanks.
I am online on MSN? where are you??
Congrats on your work! Your theme has appeared on Weblog Tools Collection.
trench@ ok
Aviator@ yeah! thanks.
Sorry to keep asking questions admin, but did you figure out how to fix the template in IE. I am still having the same problem. Also, thanks for all of the support with this theme.
Matt@ ok, lemme check
how do you remove the article ID# from the permalink. mine comes up like
www.mysite.com/wordpress-theme-blog-oh-blog/#159/
This theme looks simple, clean, and tidy. Is a great theme to use.
Nice theme, but your top horizontal menu needs depth=1 in wp_list_pages().
Without that, blogs with multiple child page levels will have a difficult time displaying a proper horizontal menu.
Alex@ Thanks
Small Potato@ Yeah! Thanks come here and for the child pages alert. i just put current_page_item in the nav css. its ok for a little child pages. but not good if too many child pages in the horizontal menu. over space. depth will be take important if somebody request for it like

It’s a nice website theme thanks! Hope you’ll make some others that are simuler to this one. plz
In running the theme on blog now
thanks for the theme. now on my blog.
a big fan.
How I am waiting for this theme to have sidebars on either sides…Can you do that. I love the simplistic approach and B/W spaces on this template…The only thing I want is sidebars on either side with Content in middle…That would be just fantastic….
Are you planning to come out with such ?
Thanks for your effort !
hi, how do I change the header text to show my blogname? Thanks.
chong@ replace with http://www.blogohblog.com/request/bobstyle.zip
?
????
??
I installed the pop blue theme. The best one I ever found over the internet. Looks light and professional.
But I have a problem. My hyperlinks in the post do not work. Also, the inserted images do not show up when the blog is viewed.
I really appreciate if you could help me out with this. Please email me at kushal@sanjaal.com
Just found this template a couple days ago when I was thinking about switching to Wordpress as my website, it’s nice and easy for a noob like me to edit.
Hey Bob, how do I change the color of the column dividers between the right and left sidebars. For example, I am refering to the light gray column divider that extends the entire length of the page on your theme on blogohblog. I can’t seem to find how to change that color. Thanks.
Bob, I see that the ‘Related Post’ appears on the single post page. How do I place that into the active post. Also, how do I place any related post link? Thanks
hi bob
I like this theme very much cos it’s clean and doesn’t waste precious space at the top.
I would like to know where in the stylesheet can I make the pointsize of the headers of posts bigger. Now they are the same size as the body text.
Another thing I would like to know is, is this theme SEO’ed?
thks!
Can somebody help me to make this theme 1 columns.

mungkin petang sikit :P.
tenkiu2..
@ Bob - Only 10 posts, I brought it down to 5 and even less I nothing appears.
Im thinking this is a wordpress glitch
Hi there, your BOB theme is beautiful! Very elegant without being stuffy, professional without being corporate, clean without being monk ish. Thank you for making this available!
I have a trivia question I guess. I downloaded this theme today 8/20/07. I upgraded by WordPress just today to the 2.2.2 version. I have a blog with no content besides a couple categories, on this particular domain where I’m installing it. My point being there is nothing going on to mess it up, far as I know!
The blog’s two right columns don’t seem to have a white/grey background like you have in all your examples of it. And on the specific ‘page’ (direct link) the page title seems to lose its background. I’m sure I can figure out how to change this. I’m mentioning it because you are providing the zip file for easy install and I figure that would matter to you and probably get questions from newbies who didn’t know how to go mess about with stylesheets. You can see the fresh install here:
http://blog.dojopsi.com/
Best regards, and thanks again,
Palyne
I’ve modified this theme which is great btw, but I’m stumped on how I can place a 468×60 banner on the top right side such as you have on your current layout. Could you perhaps help me? I’d appreciate it!
Thanks.
hi, i made some modify for ur theme, and found some problem, there are the vertical line btw 2 sidebar and btw content and center sidebar, how to adjust it? kindly refer to www.littlepenang.com/index.php for more information…
this is a great theme. wow. perfect for me.
This blog-oh-blog layout is lovely!
I had a problem when I installed it on one server; the default install had no white bkgd behind the right two columns. I installed it again on a diff server and it was fine. go figure!
Also on the server where it’s fine, there is a bug, though it seems to be in the 2.2 version of wordpress, not the theme. This code:
“wp_list_bookmarks()” in the lsidebar.php
is creating an error (trying to sort by name instead of cat_name in a sql query, but obviously that is in the WP files being called. Still searching for a solution. I don’t know WP much and don’t do PHP which as you might figure is quite a hindrance lol).
Also, the code
wp_list_categories(’show_count=1&title_li=Categories’) in lsidebar.php
Brought up a bug I found in the wordpress 2.2 default files, in wp-includes/links.php
line 293 dealing with cat_name refers to name instead of cat_name. I changed this and it solved a visible problem being thrown on the blog.
(There are other areas where that issue seems present in the wp2.2 code (links.php line 526, template_functions_category.php line 122) but changing it didn’t seem to change anything at least on the main face of the blog.)
This is just trivia I put here in case anybody comes searching for info. - PJ
There it is.
I found the other bug. It’s in Wordpress install 2.2
wp-includes/bookmark-template.php
line 331
‘category_orderby’ => ‘name’, ‘category_order’ => ‘ASC’, ‘class’ => ‘linkcat’,
needs to be changed to
‘category_orderby’ => ‘cat_name’, ‘category_order’ => ‘ASC’, ‘class’ => ‘linkcat’,
that resolves the problem of themes which call the bookmarks function such as
sorry the blog ate the last of the comment
solves the problem of the function
php wp_list_bookmarks();
which is called by lsidebar.php
in the blog oh blog theme.
Only at issue for the 2.2 wordpress install it seems.
This is good, I want to use it
thanks BOB
i love this theme… i am using it on my site…
one question i have is it seems like in the main page of my blog, it sometimes doesn’t recognized that i’m logged in as an admin… so i dont get the EDIT links… if i go to a category page, i’ll get the links..
using latest Firefox on Mac OS X…. is this something related to caching? or in the headers… or?….
seems like i get the edit links about 50% of the time..
robert duffy @ thanks for the question. On the main page the EDIT link is there. Maybe in single page. I just look at the code i missing to put the EDIT link on the single page. Grab link below to fix it.
http://www.blogohblog.com/request/single.txt
Thanks for your help
Hey.. Thanks for the speeeeeeedy reply! I do have the links coded in (I put them lower down by where it lists the category per post)… The problem is sometimes they just don’t appear for me… and sometimes they do….
It’s really weird. I dont know if it’s a cache issue or a cookie issue or a headers issue or I am going crazy issue?
I do see the links on archive/category pages 100% of the time when logged in.. just not the main page/single pages.
aha.. strange. lemme double check.
Nice!
How can I add a about box and subscribe box like you have? on the upper right hand side?
I
This is in response to Matt’s question about the gray dividers in between the left and right sidebars.
I am wondering where these are defined? I need to remove them as I have removed the left sidebar and will be extending the entry box to where the left sidebar used to be.
Dear Bob, can you help and offer us where to find the two gray dividers?
Thank you:)
Adam
interesting
Can anyone please help? Where to remove the two gray divider lines?
Hi Bob (or anyone else here that can help),
I have heavily modified this theme for use on my site (thanks for a great theme Bob), but I am having right sidebar display problems on IE 6, all other browsers display perfectly. On IE 6, the contents of the right sidebar are pushed way down on the page.
I read online about referring to an IE specific stylesheet, but I have no clue on how to do this or what css to put into the stylesheet.
Can someone please help me figure this out? Our site just went live two days ago and is ecommerce enabled, but we didn’t discover this problem until too late.
Please help???
Sincerely,
Adam

I’ve been playing around with the Bob code on my site (masella.us) and I would like to know how I can post the latest post with full text and then 6 or 8 previous posts all with excerpts at the bottom… It seems to only want to do 1…. I can’t seem to find which piece of code to change down there…
Nice!
Really a good Theme, i’ll be using it for my new blog.

When I scroll the window of test run site I get some kind of fuzzy effect with gfx in the background like they are changing. Using Firefox.
@Vladimir: That’s because of the thin diagonal lines used as the background. Its an illusion you can say.
No doubt it is clean and very professionally designed theme.Downloading it for new blogs.
Using the theme on my site, great, thanks!
Oww nice!
Nice plugin. Thanks

Sweet theme. Just thought I’d point out a typo though - in the footer it says “proudly powered by powered by”… might want to fix that!
