WordPress Theme – Chronicles
Get ready to welcome another free WordPress theme from Blog Oh! Blog. The WordPress theme is called Chronicles. In the literary sense, chronicle is a written record of events presented in order of time, and updated regularly over a prolonged period. This holds true for this theme as well, first, because its a blogging theme and second, because this theme will be revised regularly.
This is a dark-brown colored, fully validated, widget-ready, 3-column theme with rounded edges all around it. I am sure you’ll like the theme and of course, any feedback is appreciated.

It is found on a “post” page, can I remove this?
If not, how do I change it so that it would validate?
hi, ive just upgraded my wo to 2.7 and using the chronicles theme — the problem was, the images are breaking up the posts — inserting big line spaces in between paragraphs. I tested the theme using an older version in another server and the posts and images formatted ok. That’s how i came to believe that the theme is not compatible with wp 2.7. Splendid, I have choosen it for my blog. Trying now to place the title on the left… and expand the text zone on the right, so the layout works on two columns only. I’m a beginner in coding, so it can take weeks. No matter! Learning on this theme is a pleasure.

im trying to download and change my blog template to this but how does it work?? seems to be zip file. how do i proceed from there to change my current blog skin to the new one?? i’m new to this stuff, so i’m not quite sure. if you could assist. many thanks!!
I love the theme, my only comment is like others have posted; the links in my posts aren’t legible. I wish I knew how to edit the style.css without breaking the entire template. The links on the sidebars are fine for me, it’s just the links in the posts I write – nobody can tell if a link is given as they blend in with the rest of the text. I’ve tried changing the color of the link in the WP wysiwyg editor to no avail, I suppose I could edit the raw html – but… meh.
Any quick fixes for the Jai?
I really like this theme and it even suits my blog name. But my only problem is that the 120 x 600 google ads arent showing up in the sidebar. Is it a fault in the theme or did I make a mistake somewhere?

Wow, that’s a great wordpress theme! I’ve been looking for something to use for my blog, and this is perfect!
I only have two gripes: first off, the text color in a “text widget” has almost no contrast, making it impossible to read, and links in posts are the same color as the rest of the text. Do you mind explaining how I could go about tweeking those? I dabble around with CSS, but I’m not very good.
This is a very nice theme. I am currently using it, but would like to have the box that holds the “tags” taller or dynamic, as I run out of space. I have tried modifying, but am unable to find the code for it.
Any clues?

When I tested this style, the ‘posted by…’ box was not tall enough when the tags wrapped to the next line.
Also: do you know of any good theme preview programs?

Crap, i am at schoo lright now and it seems to be not working..
all elements are dropping in weird places and the design does not work correctly..
using IE 6.x but when at home.. i had FF2.x and IE 7.xx and everything seemed to work seems to be a IE 6.x problem to me but it does disturb me -.-

Also, there seems to be something wrong with my embed video’s..

The title bar from the post entry seems to be doing some weird stuff.. i have tried to use a table to set the video and and all kinds of stuff but nothing seems to work, cnt find a plugin for these things.. it also seems to be a common problem among bloggers… but i really need a fix!

Hi! i realy like this theme, and i am using it..
However i ran into some problems, i think it has something to do with my ADS.
In FF everything is fine but with IE 6.x it is not my whole sidebar(the second, right, sidebar) is moving to the bottom, and the left sidebar has some space added..
Can you, perhaps help me?

@Nayie: The div in which the search box is present has a fixed height so if you try to put adsense in it, you might break something. So, you will have to make changes to the CSS file to do that.
