Hi Davide, Ok, VOCE RSS come from your Italian translations. Your translations developer already change the FEED RSS to be VOCE RSS. Or the simple way to change, make it manual. Don’t use the META widget.

This is one of my all time fav themes. Very well designed.
Cannot get Comments to work. They are enabled in Discussion, but the theme shows just “Comments are closed” and no comment field to allow anyone to enter comments. Any ideas what I need to do? Thank you!
I’m working more and more with this theme and really lke it a lot. I do have one problem that’s driving me nuts. (A very short trip)
I have a page that displays a large picture. There ia a lone or two or three of text below the picture, telling what is going on in the picture.
It’s done in a table, using two … to get the text under the picture.
My problem is that the text clips off (truncates) on the right side. I can’t figure out how to get the text to wrap properly so it displays all the text.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Love this theme, but I’m having a problem.
I modified the header graphic to show the site name and a tagline.
I then copied the theme to a WordPress installation in a subfolder, expecting to get the same title and tagline.
Instead, I get a blank header, no graphic.
Everything is the same on the two sites — header.php, index.php, style.css, both logo files.
This is driving me nuts! Does anyone have any idea where I should look for a solution?

Hi. Thanks for the wonderful theme. I’m currently testing it using WPRobot plugin for my ebay store but have run into a few problems. One in particular that I can’t figure out. I really like this theme. As others have said, it’s light, bright and airy — a pleasing combination.
I need to modify the theme to have the posts on the left and a center column that is fixed. I’ve looked at all the files and can’t figure out which ones need to be changed to make this modification.
I know about using a widget to blank out the redundant material on the left side, but that’s only the start. How do I declare that the newly cleared-out area on the left is where the posts are supposed to go and that the center column is to have fixed ocntent?
Any thoughts?

i began using this theme a while ago and what i liked was the crosshair cursor and the yellow highlighting on search results in the page/post – however i have had to reload the theme several times because of db issues unrelated to limau and as a result i have installed the later versions of limau which do not have these classy features – they make the theme very classy! i have managed to put the crosshair back but the yellow highlighting from search word to post/page is not showing yellow – can you provide download for two versions therefore for limau – one with the old features i liked as well as the newer one, keeping the more updated features for 2.7. as well as crosshair, highlighting etc – also would like a page/post template without sidebars – how to do? thanks – at nevin.freehostia.com/thomas

Bob, excellent theme, but the footer doesn’t align properly when viewing Archive links. It’s not just my blog doing it. Every other Limau Orange blog I’ve seen does it. Surprised that nobody’s spotted that earlier.
The bottom orange bar spans the length of the screen and the text moves to the right.

I’ve tried both 0.1 and 0.2 and run into the same problem (I’m sticking with 0.1 since I don’t want ads).
The CSS seems to fully apply to the sidebars, but the actual blog entries themselves aren’t rendered properly, and I’ve tested both IE and Firefox. It looks as though the font colour, paragraph spacing and bullet icons just disappear.
This is a straight download and install and I haven’t done anything except change the logo.gif.
Any ideas???

I’ve been using your Limau Orange theme for some time w/o problems. I like it very much (altho I did get rid of the orange!)
Today I’ve been working with font sizes and something strange is going on. First the entire style.css file vanished during an ftp so I know what happens when there’s no style sheet. I restored it, but now something else is going on.
My site comes up correctly in Safari and Explorer, but in Mozilla and in Fire Fox, it comes up as if the style.css file has gone away.
Please can you advise me on this?

I am having some trouble with the left column. I dropped the Search box and Pages widgets into the left column. When Search was on top (in the Widgets Dashboard), it displayed to the right of the Pages menu. When I put the Pages widget on top, Search was flush to the right. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Rokas, I agree. I will continue posting and wait for google to come back. I’ve installed the all in one seo plugin as well as I’ve seen that it works fairly well with sites that have used it.
I can only tell that I have no problems with this theme. And my site is indexed normaly, or at least good enough for me, because i am happy with my traffic.
can you post your blog adress so we could look at it?
I only think that if you have no links, so google-bot came to your site from a ping after a post, and started indexing, and then forgot it. But if you post many times, and then create many links in other sites, and if google-bot comes in 200 times a day, then I am sure everythink will be OK (but you do not want google-bot coming this often, because it will eat up all your bandvidth). This is my personal opinion.
What I would suggest: you can take another skin, or spend the same time posting 10 more posts or getting links from 5 free directories or something. I think it would be better than sitting and thinking about it, and changing the theme and looking at the site for 2 more days

Stewart, I hear what you’re saying but site: is supposed to return with all the pages that google has indexed. When I perform this search with my other sites I dont get a list of generic results rather I get a list of all my posts indexed by google with the title of the post and a description. I’ve tries this three other sites and I dont get generic results. There is something about the theme that is causing this.
For example, productive-creative.com a site above that uses this theme doesnt get generic results. If you do a search on the site: you’ll get a list of the posts indexed by google. I noticed that he is using the All in one SEO plugin and what he has in the plugin is what is returning in the results. Check his source code.

when i do what you posted, and I click on the google cashed copy of the site, i can see that all the copy is in google cash, not only the left sidebar, or a footer. So it means, that the whole page is indext by google.
It does not matter how long your blog is online, that is is it already 1 year or 1 day. What is important is the number of links to the blog and all its independent pages. If you creat a blog and post there, but have 0 incoming links, google can NOT-TO-FIND you for a year, and will not index you. But if you link to your main page and all the others, (I do it from my big site) then it can be crolled in several hours and appear in google. The trick is to have many links, and through each link google-bot comes to your site from different directions to eat your site up

I use this theme for my book review blog and I think it’s extremely search engine friendly. The only reason you are getting the same result when you put site:www.whatever.com into Google is because you are not searching for any specific words on the site and it stands to reason that the first thing that should be returned is the left sidebar as this is the first thing declared in the HTML.
I loved the theme and started using it for my site because it had everything I wanted however, I dont think its SEO friendly.
Recently I checked the index stats for my site and noticed that only one page has been indexed by google. My site has been up now for over a month. What really bothered me about that is that the description that Google had for my page was the information listed in my sidebar i.e. pages, about, instead of providing a description of my post.
At first I thought it might be something wrong with my site but after checking the index stats for the sites in the comments above I noticed the same results.

So I am using this theme on a blog I work with but we cant seem to get the images to work right.
When we insert an image it only shows at the top left of the post. When we use the image tools to flush right or wrap the text around it it doesnt work but I have seen it done in other blogs using this theme.
Is there something specific that needs to be done to make an image show in side the text?

I changed the logo on my blog from the default limau orange to my own creation (like John has done on his blog) only it is not appearing. When you go over it with the mouse something is there, but I don’t see anything. Any advice out there would be great, thanks.

In the CSS file, you will find a section like this:
#header h1 a { display:block; background:url(images/logo.gif) repeat-x right top; height:67px;}
Change “logo.gif” to your image’s name, and you should be able to see your own header image.

because I want a larger font in the body of my posts…the content.
That didn’t work for the front, main page but the font did get larger when I click a single post.

I’m having a small issue- I have excerpts enabled for my homepage (index.php: get_excerpt) but when I use adsense deluxe or even directly add ad code, my excerpts don’t show- only the title. You can see this here: http://www.hcgdietinfo.com/articles
However, if I remove excerpts and replace it in index.php with “get_content” the full post is viewable. I prefer having excerpts though. Any clue how to correct this?

I am having a strange problem, however, in Internet Explorer, my “Edit” link does not show up, but in FireFox, everything is fine. Do you know why?

remove span { background:#FFC; } in style.css. the yellow highlighting will be gone.

I noticed some CSS issues with IE7 while testing it on http://themes.wordpress.net/testrun/?wptheme=4213;
A all the sub menu items for example “child 1″ push the menu list down on HOVER. It looks like because of the border. There are no two level menu items on your demo.

Very nice, flexible theme. I’m considering using it on a couple new sites. One question for you – there are text areas throughout the theme where there is a yellow highlight over the text. One example is on the single.php file:

Where is the css style for that yellow highlight? I’d like to remove it if possible.

I’m such a pain… Please help me place my header right above the orange divider.
Also, I think I must’ve messed up the margin. The right sidebar is too far to the right leaving a big gap between the main content.

I re-uploaded the css file as you advised but the logo and the hr still do not appear on my IE v.6.0 browser even after I have cleared the browser cache.
Do you know what the problem could be? I made up my own logo to replace default logo, and it came out fine with firefox but there was still nothing with IE.

I love this template .. simple and clean. The logo doesn’t show up on IE. I removed the logo like you advised but the tag line is missing. Can anything be done about this? I have a witty tag line that I’d like to appear below the name of the blog.
Also the the lines (hr line?) don’t show on IE.
Is there anything that can be done to correct this? I want to say, to hell with IE, but there are still folks out there who use IE and I want the template to appear as it was intended on both firefox and IE.

I’m using this theme because I like the fresh look. Can you tell me how to change the font size of the contents and the sidebar? I’ve tried changing it at style.css but doesn’t seem to have any changes?

I used this theme for my other site too. But when i set the sidebar the way i like it gets messed up on internet explorer it works great on firefox. The post comes under the right sidebar. i dont have this problem on my other site. Do You Know what it could be.

this is my favorite theme so far but i have a problem. I have the falbum plugin to work with flickr and it has been activated. I just don’t know how to insert the plugin into the sidebar. I’ve been on the wordpress and falbum support pages and all i can get is installation instructions but no how to use instructions.

Hi Davide, Ok, VOCE RSS come from your Italian translations. Your translations developer already change the FEED RSS to be VOCE RSS. Or the simple way to change, make it manual. Don’t use the META widget.

Hi steve. I think i forgot to upload soft copy for the logo. Now you can download minor update for this theme.
To remove logo and replace with text just remove line #header h1 { text-indent:-10000px; margin:0; padding:0; }
#header h1 a { display:block; background:url(images/logo.gif) no-repeat left top; height:56px; } in your css.
Only text title will show up.
