I’ve been using this theme since April. Since then WP 2.7 has been released. Do you plan on updating the theme to work with WP 2.7? I really hope so…

I love the pop blue theme. It is elegant and easy to read.
One of our web gurus tweaked it to make it more photo blog friendly.
Not being a guru myself, is there an easy way to import multiple photos and keep the photos to the right and the text on the left? I sometimes have more photos than text and when I design in Firefox sometimes get a jumble in IE.
thanks

I’m trying the theme out, but am having trouble removing the banner ad for text-link-ads.com. Could you tell me where in the code to find it?

I feel like I’ve looked everywhere! Thanks πŸ™‚

Hi,

I use this theme on my website and love it.

But I am having trouble nesting pages. The pages are listed across the top – I’d like to have sub pages under certain pages – when I chose page parent I’d expect the new page to be placed as a sub heading on that page but it includes it on the main page as a new main heading.

Hope that makes sense? Anyone have a clue how to fix this – I’m not PHP savy, so really on templates and tickboxes.

Really great theme! Although I think it would be much cooler with an easier way to change the Blog Title graphic and support for Gravatars. Thanks!

How do I get the theme to just show my blog name and description instead of the popblue logo? I tried uploading a different pic and changing the css to point to it – didn’t work. I don’t see anywhere in the main index or header.php to make such change. Help! Thanks!

For all the people who want to show the full posts on the homepage instead of the small excerpts, just open the index.php file and replace the following text

thanks for any help.

I want to be able to show my first few posts in full and the remainder in excerpts. I tried the Homepage Excerpts plug-in at http://www.dailyblogtips.com/homepage-excerpts-wordpress-plugin/but it doesn’t seem to work with the Pop Blue theme. How can I achieve this functionality?

Hello, I’m really liking this layout but I still have a problem with displaying the whole entry and image rather than a summary. I’m still tweaking it but whenever I use the code to display it as above, the layout shifts to the far left. Even when I undo the action, it’s still in the far left and I have to replace the entire page with the original. What can I do? Thank you.

i was wondering which are the fonts used to make the logo. I tried opening the logo.psd but photoshop says that i don’t have the fonts.
if you please it would be awesome to give us a link with the fonts.
thanks, great theme πŸ˜‰

Hello, How do you get the home link in the navigation to stay active when you’re on the home page? I can see “Home” is manually added in the header file as an …does some code need to be added there?

Thanks!

I love this theme. Has anyone had luck using the easytube plugin with it. The rest of Bob’s themes work with it, but in Pop Blue, the easytube code [youtube:http://www.foo.com] shows up as actual text and not an embedded youtube clip.

Any help?

Hey there, Bob. Saw/found your ‘Pop Blue’ theme within the collection of WordPress themes. And, I really, really liked it from the start. (I even ‘remixed’ it for my very own blog. Code named ‘Pop Back In Black’. πŸ˜‰ Thank you.

Love your WordPress themes! Thank you!
I want to use the POP BLUE 2 column theme but want to change the bluish colors. I am not too familiar with CSS editting. Is there a simple way for me to revise the colors? Mainly just looking to change the blue title background and footer.

tkssss!

i have a probelem in my admin , i says i dont have permissions from admin php or something cant ad categories!

Bob, I was wondering if it was possible to make the links in the summaries clickable. As of right now you have to click on the story to see a hyperlinked url and it is just in plaintext in the summary.

Thanks in advance!

hello. great theme!

one question: any idea why i’m getting this error and/or how to fix it?
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/chocolc1/public_html/wp-content/themes/popblue/single.php on line 23

i’m sure it’s something stupidly simple that i’m just not realizing… any help would be appreciated!

Bob, Thanks for the wonderful theme. I am already using it on my site. There’s one more problem though. It will be nicer if there can be a short description of the blog appearing just below the site title logo. Can you tell me how to do this? I am not familiar with this codes etc. Thanks. Highly appreciated.

I’ve been desperately trying to get this layout to work, however when I do try, all I get is the header graphic and the top set of links, followed by blank underneath. Not sure what’s going on or how to fix it.

Hi Bob,
I like this theme. Can you tell me how to make the content display as usual not like the current version showing only title and summary? Thanks.

Hi cq. look like the files not upload in completed. may i know where you download the pop blue theme? on my local or from theme.wordpress.net

i have this error:

main(/home/…../public_html/wp-content/themes/popblue/searchform.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream:No such file or directory in………header.php line 23.
but when i delete header.php, the error msgs on the blog disappear. but the columns became wider. ie. the content move more towards the left while the side widget move towards the right. leaving one blank column in between.

please advise.

thanks.

Hi. I love thsi theme–it’s very clean and elegant I’d love to use it on my Blog. However, I have one problem–I usually put a little picture with each entry on my blog, and thsis theme “summarizes” each entry on the main page. Is there a setting I can change to do this?

Thanksfor your helpa nd all your hard work on this super-cool theme.
